Afterseveralmonths,ParkerandHachigetalongverywell,theybecomepartners.Everymorning,HachiaccompaniesParkertothetrainstationandwaitspatientlyforhisreturn,becomingaregularfixtureofHachi’slife.

InthemovieHatchicrossedanoceanandthousandsofmilesoftransportationbytrain,andthenhemetParker(themainactor)inasnowyday.Becauseitwassnowingandthedog,Hatchi,waslost.ParkertookHatchibacktohishome,andthenkeptit.ParkertreateditverywellandsodidHatchi.WhenHatchihadgrownup,hefetchedparkertoworkeveryday.
